National Rifle Association
The National Rifle Association of America (NRA) is a U.S. nonprofit organization founded in 1871, originally to promote rifle marksmanship and firearm proficiency. Over time, it has grown into one of the most prominent gun rights advocacy groups in the United States, focused on defending and advancing the constitutional right to keep and bear arms under the Second Amendment. The Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs (ANJRPC) is the official state association of the National Rifle Association in New Jersey.
